We have vast experience in the modular construction industry and have worked in many of the markets including – hotels, prisons, health service, MOD, private housing & apartment blocks and the refurbishment of both metal and timber framed modular buildings.

Just a small example of projects are provided below –

1500 bedroom contract for Caledonian Building Services ltd . This project was completed within 12 months from factory production start date to handover to the client. Our scope of works included taping and jointing works plus the installation of suspended ceilings.

This is a 400 module extension that is due for completion by April 2011. Our scope of works consist of all plaste board linings, tape and jointing and suspended ceilings in the factory as well as on site.

Project Slam is an ongoing modular project, installing new accommodation for the armed forces at bases all over the country. We have worked on these for 4 years to date and there is 5 more years to run on the project. Our scope of works included plasterboard linings, tape and jointing and suspended ceilings. A small list of some of the projects we have worked on are below –

St Athens – 4 number 75 bedroom blocks
Culdrose – 6 number 100 bedroom blocks
Borona – 4 number 100 bedroom blocks
Catterick – 12 number 125 bedroom blocks

Within the modular industry some buildings are temporary and are relocated around the country for re-use. In this market we have worked for many clients including Rollalong and Speedy Hire. Some examples of completed projects are provided below –

This was a 50 bedroom building that was moved from London to Market Drayton for relocation so that it could house army cadets whist the MOD traditional accommodation was being refurbed. Our scope of works on this project included the re-boarding of bay joints, re-taping bay joint areas and any transit damage, redecoration through out and installation of new suspended ceiling.

Contract value – £27,000

This project was a complete strip-out of speedy space metal modules and a complete fit out for carillon to use as there motorway offices. Our scope of works included, installation of new demountable partitions, new plasterboard partitions, tape and jointing, installation of suspended ceilings, decoration and all joinery works.
